ABOUT THE ENPARD INITIATIVE

  • Spring 2011: Launching of the ENPARD South initiative by the European Commission

  • December 2011: The European Commission and the CIHEAM-IAMM signs a contract for the implementation of the ENPARD South initiative

​

  • 31th May and 1st June 2012: Kick off conference of the 1st phase of the ENPARD South initiative in Brussels with a 4 pilot-countries group (Egypt, Jordan, Morocco et Tunisia)

​

  • September 2012: Algeria joins the ENPARD South initiative

​

  • January 2013: Lebanon joins the ENPARD South initiative

​

  • Spring 2013: Launching of the support programme for the national strategy of the agricultural extension system in Morocco in collaboration with the ONCA

​

  • December 2013 – January 2014: Signature of the financing agreements of the pilot action programme in Tunisia

​

  • September 2014: Signature of the financing agreements of the pilot action programme in Egypt

​

  • December 2014: Launching of the pilot action programme in Egypt

​

  • December 2014: Signature of the financing agreements of the pilot action programme in Algeria

​

  • July 2015: Launching of the second phase of the ENPARD South Support Programme aiming particularly to promote the regional dialogue by expanding it to the entire Mediterranean region

​

  • January 2016: Launching of the EU-Tunisia twinning project fo institutional support to the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture

​

  • May 2016: Kick off seminar of the ENPARD South Support Programme in Israel

​

  • August 2016: Kick off seminar of the ENPARD South Support Programme in Palestine
